Vet RA NYSORA App
Inspired by the increasing development of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia in veterinary medicine and the huge popularity of NYSORA’s Nerve Block APP for human medicine, a team of experts in veterinary medicine, led by Dr. Robert Trujanovic from the University of Vienna, have invested a great deal of passion into creating the first mobile app – the Vet RA App – focused on the most commonly used nerve blocks in small animals. Each block is accompanied by specially made cognitive aids by NYSORA’s illustrators. The app features more than 250 illustrations, animations and clinical images, including NYSORA’s proprietary Reverse Ultrasound Anatomy© illustrations which were created to assist pattern recognition and knowledge retention.
We are thrilled to share that NYSORA’s mobile apps have exceeded 100,000 downloads and have all received amazing feedback by practitioners from throughout the world. The app was envisioned as a one-stop on-the-go reference guide in your pocket to regional anesthesia in small animals. We used three decades of experience in medical education to produce this truly world-class application for veterinary doctors.
Here’s what NYSORA’s Vet RA app features :
- Over 250 illustrations, animations, and images
- The revolutionary Slider Anatomy Cognitive Aid Tool built into Reverse Ultrasound Anatomy© illustrations to controllably switch between ultrasound images and illustrations
- Countless tips for best practice and clinical pearls by field experts
- Over 20 highly practical ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, neuraxial and infiltration techniques
The team worked hard to coordinate only the best and latest information on Nerve Blocks in Veterinary Regional Anesthesia into the app. By combining the use of ultrasound-guided and ultrasound-assisted techniques, the Vet RA app aims to facilitate clinicians’ memorizing of sonoanatomic patterns.
Find the app on your usual app store.
