VAA survey

Published by July 24, 2023 11:31 pm

The number of submissions to Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (VAA) has decreased in recent years. The AVA and ACVAA as co-owners of the journal want to assess the factors which have contributed to this change. Therefore, the aims of this survey are to collect feedback from users on a potential change in format of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia and to identify factors responsible for authors submitting their manuscripts to other journals. For this purpose, we are inviting you to complete this online survey: https://redcap.vet.unimelb.edu.au/surveys/?s=MAT4FNR348 (or QR code below)

The information you provide will be treated anonymously. Participation is voluntary and no monetary incentives are available. It will be used to guide strategies for increasing the number of submissions to the journal and to improve ease of access to VAA in the future. This survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. The results will be disseminated to AVA members and ACVAA diplomates. The data may be published in a future issue of VAA.

As part of the survey, we will collect demographic details of AVA members &/or ACVAA diplomates in addition to the methods you use to access VAA and your opinions about who should pay the fees for publishing VAA.

The survey will close on September 8th.

Thank you.
