Budget (30% of overall marks): marking will be based on completeness of the proposed budget and potential additional funding sources. Have all probable (and reasonable) expenses been covered? Are travel expenses sensibly (i.e. economy levels) but fully priced? Where you don’t know the likely cost, please list them (e.g. hotel) but with the comment – ‘price unknown’. Please do not forget to say where the rest of the funding is likely to come from (including self-funding if applicable). Preference will be given, but not limited, to applicants with restricted resources from additional sources and/or those in training.
