The AVA had a stand at the BVNA conference for the third year running this October
BVNA is the largest Vet Nursing conference in the UK with 1300 delegates over the 3 days.
This year the AVA launched our new exhibition stand that has been designed by the PR subcommittee with professional marketing assistance. The multifunctional stand is made up of connectible panels that allow the stand size to be tailored to different situations, and has themed banners to target different audiences.
The stand was staffed by diplomat and VTS nurse AVA members who spoke to delegates on a range of subjects. Available free from the stand were the AVA checklists, pens, markers and notepads, and our newly launched anaesthetic forms. A barcode scanning system also has allowed us to gather contact details for nurses interested in future AVA news and events.
Overall it was a busy and productive 3 days for the AVA!
Thanks to Jo Michou, Laura Tobin, Paula Hill, Louise Dale, Vicky Ford Fennah and Jo Murrell for representing the AVA
