SAQ Challenge 2021

Calling all ECVAA exam candidates: Invitation to join the SAQ challenge 2021!

This “challenge” consists of a “club” where exam candidates are given the chance to practice answering SAQs. This is based on a tried and tested system developed for the primary FRCA exam (which is the closest medical equivalent of our anaesthesia diploma exam) and has demonstrated repeated success, with the FRCA candidates achieving very high pass rates.

In order to participate, candidates will require a printer, a scanner and the motivation to practice SAQ exam questions.

The “SAQ challenge”, will commence on the 1st of March and finish on the 28th of July 2020.

Applications to participate are now open and will close on the 14th of February.

Participation will be anonymous, requiring you to create SAQs and model answers, to answer papers under exam conditions and to mark SAQ papers. The aim is NOT to improve your knowledge, but to improve your technique in answering SAQs.

Any third year resident or candidate planning to sit the exam in 2021/22 who is interested in participating should contact us at vetspenclub@gmail.com. We will then send a booklet with more detailed information.
