I graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Pisa University in 2002 and I was sure I wanted to be an intensivist when I grow up. During my PhD I did fall in love with anaesthesia and now I still am. Now I work at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Pisa University as assistant professor in anaesthesia. I teach anaesthesiology and emergency procedures in the course of Veterinary Medicine and I am the coordinator and one of the professors in the postgraduate course of the Master in Anaesthesia and Analgesia of the University of Pisa. My research fields are the loco-regional anaesthesia, non-invasive ventilation techniques and haemodynamic monitoring.
