Environmental Sustainability in Veterinary Anaesthesia

15th November 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Hello everyone,

The team at Davies Veterinary Specialists would like to invite you all to join us on Thursday November 15th 2018 in our Lecture Theatre at 7pm to discuss “Environmental Sustainability in Veterinary Anaesthesia“. Our address is Manor Farm Business Park, Higham Gobion, SG5 3HR.

There will be several short presentations followed by short group sessions to brainstorm sustainability options which might apply to your own practice. We will be providing food and drinks, but in support of our sustainability theme, feel free to bring your own mugs/drinks bottles – we are avoiding disposable plastics!

We will be collecting donations for our Charity of the Year, so any donations are very welcome. This is the Dogs Trust Freedom Project, which provides temporary foster care for dogs belonging to families fleeing domestic violence.

In preparation, and to convince you of the need to come and engage, we invite you to watch the following short Royal College of Anaesthetists ARIES lecture by Hugh Montgomery, who is a leading figure in the medical sustainability movement.

Please get in touch if you are interested in attending, and please forward this email to members of your teams and anyone else. We will investigate some teleconferencing options if people are keen.

Best wishes, Ellie West ([email protected])
