A two-day course suitable for veterinary surgeons with different levels of experience and interest in equine anaesthesia in a hospital setting. To cover a wide range of topics concerning pre-, intra- and postanaesthetic management of various cases. Lectures will be combined with interactive case discussions, workshop and seminars.
Both days can be attended individually or booked together, with day 1 covering basic anaesthesia topics (preparation, anaesthesia monitoring, anaesthesia-related morbitidies and mortalities) and day 2 addressing advanced anaesthesia challenges (dystocias, foals, pain management, intensive care).
